In the Eastbourne area, any recommendations. Just about to move in to a house and ideally dont want a phone line but understand in the area there is no cable so probably no choice. Needs to have no limit on downloads and quick but decent price.

Fibre is the cable that carries your connect, As far as I'm aware there are now only two networks, BT and Virginmedia. BT are rolling out fibre all over the place and their product is "Infinity" [1 or 2]. Virgin media are much rarer so their fibre network might not be available at your property - go on their website and check.

BT will allow some of their competitors to use their fibre network - but not all.

I switched from virgin copper to BT Infinity 2 last Novemebr and am well happy with my speeds now.

Unless there is cable then they are all the same. A lot of areas in Eastbourne have cable.

Just don't let a one of bt's contractors install it (Kelly's or quinns) I have heard some shocking stories about there workmanship.
