From the BBC.. "Billionaire owner Vichai Srivaddhanaprabha says he will spend £180m to help Leicester City challenge for European places". Will this end in tears? Would Tony spend £18 million if promoted?

Meopham, Kent.
And they spent it yesterday too, Jesus they have some money if they're doing it again today.

Maybe they have realised that it isn't enough to deliver the 5th place they were talking about, so have doubled the investment.

not straight away, 2 or 3 years stability first... most leicester fans knew this already, its old news to us.. we always knew premier league stabilty followed by a push for a top 5 finish was the goal, thats why we were so anxious to get out of the championship as quickly as possible. it may end in tears, it may not, but since our owners have had charge of our club we believe anything is possible..

To owners like VS and TB the sum of £180M is only pocket change

Sorry top 5 is way out of leicesters league, spending £180m or not. Spurs spent £100m in one season and failed. Plus, its a pretty big gamble to simply say "it may end in tears"

Ending in tears could mean a Pompey type meltdown.
