One thing is for certain, we will not be play off contenders next season what decent manager is going to come here knowing 2 managers have left in consecutive seasons due to lack of ambition from the club. It`s all good and well having pretty rafters to look at, but what can a manager do when funds are not made available to sign decent strikers, the players in the position that win you games and get you promoted.Tony is either going to have to offer silly wages to a manager to entice a decent one here or release millions to fund a complete new squad, either way his prudence over the last few years is going to cost him dearly. The alternative is probable relegation next season

Exactly this!! There are players out there who can gel as a team and won't be expensive in fees / wages, Burnley are proof. What's the point investing in an academy if we buy buy buy!

The academy is not going to produce for about 5 years it will take time for the youth to develope,in the meantime Tony is going to have to carry on digging deep into his pockets if he be prepared to that is
