What would people think of Giggs as next manager?

No inside info, but assume he'll be available in the summer and may want to gain experience at a top Championship club rather than battle against relegation in the Prem (can't see him getting any of the top jobs as a rookie).

Do you think he has the makings of a good manager? Obviously he has the connections and would be well respected, but would he be savvy enough tactically?

What does NSC think? Would he even come here? Would you want him? More importantly, would Tony want him?

He's spent his whole playing career playing for the best manager ever has solid connections with Man United and I expect would bring some high quality coaches into our set up. I'd be all for it.

No chance he'd be on a hiding to nothing coming here.

His minimum requirement would be play-offs, top 10 at a push.
But it would seem the club aren't prepared to back their managers to that extent.

A rookie doesn't stand a chance of matching Oscar & poyet.

Oscar is pretty much a rookie and only a year older than Giggs!

"I feel flat, the players were flat and I don't know why," said Giggs, after his second game in charge at Old Trafford.

I would suggest that we need someone with a little more insight.

I would love it.

It's a ridiculous idea, but so was Poyet.

Whether he would come though, I would expect he will have an important backroom role at Old Trafford until he gets the top job.

Yeah, that would suggest he is still learning.

Oscar isn't a rookie manager.
Irrespective of Israel he'd been 'managing' at Barca.

Last week Giggs was subbing himself on just to get a cheer at Old Trafford.

Only if he had someone experienced and knowledgeable like Di Canio working behind the scenes.
