Inigo Calderon knows all about two-leg play-off and cup ties.
And he reckons it is a case of where there is life there is hope for Albion as they go to Derby.
Calderon started home and away when the Seagulls lost to Crystal Palace in the semi-finals last term.
He also appeared in SEVEN home-and-away ties – or 14 matches in all – during his time with Alicante in Spain.
Calderon said: “I’ve got quite a lot of experience of playing over two legs and the main thing is you have to be alive for the second leg.
“It’s just one goal. Maybe you are having a bad day but you can still nick a goal from a set-piece, a penalty, whatever.
“We are still in there. I know for a fact we will fight until the last second.”
Calderon was part of two aggregate wins and three defeats for Alicante in promotion play-offs between June 2005 and June 2007.
He shared in one aggregate win and one defeat in Copa del Rey ties in the same period.
