Malky Mackay apologises to Vincent Tan

Malky Mackay has apologised "without reservation" to Cardiff City owner Vincent Tan over the issues that led to his December, 2013 sacking by the club.

The Scotsman has also halted his legal action against the club.

Mackay said in a statement: "If I have caused any offence to anyone during this time, especially to Vincent Tan, then I apologise without reservation."

You would think so. Such a strange statement to make, which makes it seem like it was a condition, which makes Tan look even worse (if that was possible).

Of course we might be jumping to the wrong conclusions. But I doubt it.

maybe he's lined up for a job and his new Chairman has told him he has to settle everything before starting? That's what I would do if I was a Chairman who wanted a manager who was in dispute with his previous employers. I'd want my guy to be focused on my club, not past history. I wonder which club?
