But the team facing Albion in tonight’s semi-final first leg is full-strength and as expected.
Boss Steve McClaren rotated his squad for the season-ending 1-1 draw at Leeds on Saturday.
That means Jake Buxton, Craig Bryson, George Thorne, Johnny Russell, Jamie Ward and top scorer Chris Martin return.
England under-21 internationals Will Hughes and Patrick Bamford are among the Rams’ subs.
