Derby showed us how to attack at pace

Maybebut they scored two goals. The first the player ran into a crowd of players and wasnt going anywhere and we decide to dive in, mis the ball by miles and clatter into him. Penalty, they are back in the game. Second goal came off the bar and hit our keeper to go in. We have 3 penalties, none given. Enough said.

Every team shows us how to attack at pace, wait for us to play 30 sideways passes with no effect then pick the ball up cheaply and bomb forward to score

That's about as succinct a summary of our season as I've read. Could equally apply to last season also. So much sideways action going on, maybe we should ditch the Seagulls thing in favour of the CRABS.

This, can someone explain to the club that the team who scores most goals wins the game, not the team who makes most pretty sideways passes to the wing with no strikers in the box to receive the ball

Try telling that to Keith Andrews

The problem we have is we just don't score enough. Think of the amount of goals Ulloa should have scored in, he'd be right up there with McCormack as the top scorer. It's not good enough. Luckily we have 90 more minutes, but today we really did muck up.

I felt very frustrated again at how slow we are at breaking at pace by running at teams. The occasional hoof down the field but mostly an infuriating slow build up that gives the opposition time to get 10 players behind the ball. If only we would make pacey breaks we would have time in the box now and again. I thought we were a little unfortunate tonight but we are so fecking predictable in the build up.
