8:07pm
20: Gasps around the stadium as Russell's inswinging free-kick from the right beats everyone and curls just wide of the far post.

8:05pm
18: Bryson shoves Buckley in the back by the touchline and Albion take the free-kick quickly. Calderon gets beind the defence, crosses low and the ball is rifled home by LINGARD.

7:59pm
People saying this was going to be cagey but very open. Albion stringing some neat football together

7:58pm
10: Neat passing from Albion and howls for a penalty - from crowd rather than players - as Calderon goes down under pressure.
12: Good stuff down the right and Calderon's whipped-in cross is headed over his own bar by Keogh. Grant holds Orlandi's deep, inswinging corner.

7:54pm
07: First spell of Derby possession and Russell slides a dangerous ball across the goalmouth which no one can reach.
08: Calderon booked for sliding in late on Forsyth

7:48pm
01: Buckley wins a very early free-kick on the byline and Albion work it quickly. But Orlandi's unchallenged cross is overhit.

7:44pm
No change of ends. We are all set to go.

7:39pm
Brian Owen here in the press box.
Definitely*a more relaxed feel to this play-off than for the second leg against Palace last season. Feels more like a normal league game.
Pitchside announcer Richard Reynolds probably summed it up with his opening line a little while ago when he said: "Well this is a nice little bonus, isn't it?"

7:28pm
Derby's injured skipper Shaun Barker is in the Press area.

7:28pm
Looks like the Brighton team is Kuszczak, Calderon, Greer, Upson, Ward; Andrews, Forster-Caskey, Lingard; Orlandi, Ulloa, Buckley

7:13pm
Another lovely message for the team in blue and white.

7:09pm
Team news stories are now online.

7:00pm
Sounds like the A27 is getting heavy.

6:59pm
Reports coming in of Deby fans manically trying to park up and get to the stadium for kick-off.

6:51pm
There has been talk around the stadium of fans arriving late on the trains.
But*a Southern Rail spokesman has told The Argus that there is no problem with trains heading to Falmer and extra services are running as planned.

6:50pm
Albion team is as started at Forest

6:48pm
Tim Ridgeway has been listening to Albion songs at Brighton station.

6:48pm
Derby's team is as per The Argus today, meaning Hughes and Bamford are on the bench.

6:34pm
Gareth has spotted plenty of fans trying to get a pre-match drink.

6:32pm
Andy Naylor has heard some other news about The Albion.*

6:21pm
Brian Owen checking in from the Amex press box. Surprisingly dry and free of mist and breeze here in the West Lower compared to conditions outside and, certainly, compared to what it was like coming over the racecourse.
Derby's players are just emerging for a stroll on the pitch.
Will Hughes pauses for a chat with a reporter.

6:19pm
Gareth adds:
Tony Pring and Geoff 'Gully' Harris have come down from Tunbridge Wells for the game.
They were snapped in their Albion hats by Argus photographer Simon Dack.
The boys think they'll take a two or three goal lead up to Derby in Sunday.
Tony said: "They've finished well and they do deserve third spot, but I think it'll be a repeat of the Forest game.
"We were the underdogs then and nobody was giving us a chance, but we still came through."*
Geoff thinks after Derby's two league wins against the Seagulls, the Rams will be heading south a bit over confident.

6:16pm
More from reporter Gareth Davies at the stadium:
There's a really positive vibe here among the fans as they battle the gale-force winds from the train station up to the stadium.
Despite the Seagulls having lost twice to Derby in the league this season, fans are predicting taking at least a draw up to the iPro on Sunday.
Supporters are making full use of the shelter by piling into the club shop or Dick's Bar.
Two hours til kick off and the atmosphere is building nicely.

6:11pm
Reporter Gareth Davies is meeting more fans ready for the big match, including one whose night will be extra special...

6:04pm
The Albion may have finished with 13 points less than Derby this season but that all goes out of the window tonight and on Sunday.

5:49pm
More from Gareth...

5:49pm
But still the nerves kick in with the faithful fans:

5:43pm
More positive predictions coming in via reporter Gareth Davies:

5:33pm
Albion coach Oscar Garcia has told his players to play without fear tonight.

5:29pm
Argus reporter Andy Naylor has hopefully got tonight's storyline in the bag already:

5:26pm
But it's mostly all about the excitement:

5:25pm
There's plenty of nerves among the fans too as it's such a big game.

5:20pm
Plenty of Albion fans arriving too.

5:13pm
The Albion do seem to do well in tight matches so they could be in a strong position for the second leg of this big play-off semi-final come Sunday.

5:11pm
Reporter Gareth Davies has arrived.

5:08pm
And the away fans have apparently started arriving too.

5:01pm
Our reporter Gareth Davies will be arriving at the Amex soon to speak to fans ahead of the big match.

4:37pm
It's the biggest night of the season at the Amex. And we are bringing you all the build-up followed by on-field action from tonight's play-off semi-final first leg.
For some, it will also be one of the most hectic early evenings of the season as they*hurry from work*to Falmer to see Albion take on Derby.
Our news team will let you know how the rush to the Amex is going and bring you the scenes from outside the stadium.
Albion were asking fans who needed to collect tickets to arrive 90 minutes before kick-off with big queues expected.
We will have team news about an hour before the game gets under way, then bulletins from the contest between sixth and third-placed teams in the Championship.
There will also be additional content on the Albion section of our website. The comprehensive service Seagulls fans are used to, in fact.
And you will have no shortage of opportunity to have your say.
It promises to be a*lively*evening. We will bring the excitement and drama of it all right here...*
