Seagull Star, owned by Tony Bloom, is declared for the Chester Vase at Chester tomorrow (2.45). Last year's winner of the race was Ruler Of The World, who went on to win the Derby at Epsom a few weeks later and Seagull Star will no doubt be aimed at the same race if successful.
So TB could end up with his colt Seagull Star as a contender for the Derby and his footballing Seagulls beating Derby in the space of a few hours.
Whatever happens, I can feel a painfully contrived intro on the Chester racing report coming on.

I had a phone call this morning from a mate who knows quite a lot about horse racing and he flagged this up as a deffo good each way bet.

Not entirely true!

Pricewise has tipped it up in the Racing Post. Always cuts the price immediately.

It's a tough race, can make a case for Fire Fighting and Sennockian Star, but I think I'm going to go with What About Carlo.
