Derby could leave two England under-21 stars on the bench as they aim to end Albion’s play-off dreams.
Midfielder Will Hughes and striker Patrick Bamford are both expected to figure among the substitutes for tomorrow’s semi-final first leg at the Amex.
Bamford came off the bench to beat Albion with his first goal for the Rams in January and has netted a further seven times during his stint on loan from Chelsea.
Boss Steve McClaren rang the changes for Derby’s season-ending 1-1 draw at Leeds on Saturday.
Former Albion left-back Wayne Bridge has announced his retirement. Bridge was one of five players released by Reading yesterday as the fall-out of their failure to reach the play-offs kicks in.
