Brighton & Hove Albion's chief executive Paul Barber says the club is expecting the biggest ever Amex crowd this week, as ticketing staff work hard to turn around ticket sales in time for the play-off semi-final first-leg against Derby County.Including 1901 Club, Platinum and Gold members, more than 16,000 tickets have already been snapped up by season-ticket holders during the course of today, for the match at the Amex this coming Thursday.

Existing season-ticket holders - plus new 2014/15 season ticket holders with 70+ Seagulls Priority loyalty points - HAVE UNTIL 2PM TOMORROW to secure their seats for the match, and the club expects the figure of sold tickets (including away sales) to rise to around 25,000 by tomorrow afternoon. The Albion Booking Line will open tomorrow at 9am, and season-ticket holders can call 0844 3271901 and select option 1 to buy their seat.
Barber commented, "We have already processed a huge number of season-ticket holders' tickets ready for the play-off semi-final home leg. With such a short turnaround time, it really helped us a great deal that so many heeded our advice and upgraded to the Seagulls Priority Gold membership option - and we thank them for that.
"I am sure those who did have seen the real benefit of this option, as their tickets were uploaded to their smartcards last night ready for Thursday's game. This is a great option for fans, and is available to all season-ticket holders, all year round, at no cost and with no booking fees for auto-cup or play-off tickets.
"We will have an update for non season-ticket holders at some point during the course of tomorrow afternoon, with advice on numbers and availability of tickets in the coming days. With demand for tickets so high - and with the support of our safety and ticketing teams - our aim is to take advantage of the segregation flexibility our modern stadium provides and to maximise the number of seats available to Albion fans as best we can."
