Urgent question -travel from lewes

Will be coming down from Manchester on Thursday night. Can't get to Brighton or lewes till about 6.20 at the earliest. Would I get onto a train to falmer any quicker from lewes. In the past I've always stayed in Brighton. Any help appreciated...

7 minutes from Lewes and trains every ten to fifteen minutes.

Lewes is the stop after falmer, so you should get there quicker from Lewes station

There's an 18.35 from Lewes that always gets me to the ground in time for a pre match beer.
