Alright so not quite, but this afternoon while watching the climax of Star Wars in front of the open fire with the family a Rainbow Lorikeet fell down the chimney and out of the fire. We were all freaked out (not least the singed parrot, especially when the cat started chasing it) and now I am a little disappointed that I don't have an anecdote about a 'flaming galah' but i was wondering if anyone else had stories of anything coming down the chimney.

Yes every December 25th some fat bloke in red and a funny hat, eats all my mince pies [b------d]

Reminds me of a classic Viz joke, cue cartoon or a bloke on a step ladder with a mass of metal piping, "Doctor Doctor, I'm coming down with the flu"........
