Albion celebrated play-off qualification with their jubilant fans today – and were then applauded off the pitch by Forest supporters.
The Seagulls are heading to a semi-final showdown with Derby County thanks to their last-gasp 2-1 win at Forest today.
It was their first win at the City Ground for ten years and only the fourth in their history.
Reading’s game – a 2-2 draw with Burnley – had ended as the last few moments were played out.
Then the final whistle sounded to spark a party in the Bridgford Stand.
Some players threw their shirts to fans, including Ulloa himself.
The Argentinean was last to take their salute after giving an interview on the pitch.
They were memorable scenes for Seagulls followers - both by the Trent and watching on TV - who had endured a nervous afternoon.
And one final accolade was yet to come.
As they made their way towards the tunnel midway inside the other half of the pitch, Albion players received a generous ovation from Forest’s supporters.
They were scenes reminiscent of the generous farewell Albion supporters gave Yeovil at the Amex eight days ago.
But these had an altogether more upbeat feel about them.
Albion are heading to the play-offs.
