Whilst I'd still pick Bridge over him as the better player in a one off game, his ability to stay fit and produce consistent performances makes him a "must sign" in my opinion

He doesn't seem the sort of player to want to sit about, even if it meant taking a pay cut.

I assume he is on Premier League wages.
