What a display of character! Under Gus in this high pressure games we more often than not wilted under the pressure... Despite putting in a largely abject display today you could really sense the passion and desire of the players in those last 10 minutes. Who says Oscar can't motivate the players? Playoffs here we come!

Are you saying it took oscar to motivate the players? If these players are not self motivated in these type of games they shouldn't be playing.

You think it was easy to keep motivated when we were staring down the barrel of missing out? They looked focused and ruthless in the last 10 minutes, how March's surging run didn't result in a goal I still won't know. Got the subs spot on too.

We only found ourselves needing this win because of the lack of character they showed in other vital games we ballsed up.

It was great to see them come home hard in this game but if that last 15 minutes of urgency was shown in other games we might have had a less squeeky bum time today.

Yes. Knowing we needed to score a winner, they would have been even more motivated as they showed in the last 10 minutes.
