He told seagulls.co.uk, “My memory of playing in local derbies was that there was quite a bit of excitement leading up to the game and form goes out the window.“I’m sure that Lewes will want to avenge the result from last time when we beat them by quite a few (Albion won 6-0).
“Their recent form has been good and they had a 1-1 draw with Coventry last weekend. That shows they have a good line-up and a good set of players that work hard for each other, but our players are looking forward to the game."
Charley Boswell (hamstring) and Paula Howells (hip) are both doubts, while Rebecca Merritt still needs clearance to play after suffering from concussion.
Entrance is free all Albion season-ticket holders and children under-16, while admission for non-season ticket holders is £2.
There will also be a minute’s applause prior to kick-off for club volunteer Sam Paterson-Sleep, who passed away earlier this year.
