I think we will both draw. How annoying.

I think we'll be bullied and beaten by Forest and Reading will win.

An NSC binfest surrounding whether Oscar is good enough will follow and go on until next season starts. The binfest will be ramped up even further when Gus keeps Sunderland up over the next couple of weeks.

I'm optimistic about our chances against Forest on Saturday; much less optimistic concerning Reading's result. Still, I've gone for an Albion win and a Reading draw, which is one of only 3/9 permutations that will bring a smile to our faces.

No Blackburn make the play-offs option?

Brighton draw, Reading win. NSC descends into meltdown, Kevtherev comes on to tell us he was right all along and we need an ENGLISH manager (despite him being fully behind the Oscar appointment at the time), and the rest of the dribblers (Mutts Nutts, vulture etc) announce that we 'should of' got Neil Warnock.

No. The bookies won't give you a price on it and I won't list it as an option, as it isn't.

Betfair still have it as a 94/1 shot. 3-0 losses for the Albion and Reading and a 5-0 win for Blackburn will do it.

You're right - it isn't an option.

We draw, they lose to a last minute goal by Barnes. We finish above them courtesy of having 1 better goal difference.

I'm gonna be confident and say Reading lose, Albion win and we go through to the play offs.
Such positivity for 8am on a Wed morning.

Is there a better last day of the season pair of results than this?

No. The bookies won't give you a price on it and I won't list it as an option, as it isn't.
There must be a price to get out of one of the combinations that would get Blackburn into the play-offs:-

Reading lose (5/2), Albion lose (7/4), Blackburn win (7/5) or
Reading lose (5/2), Albion draw (12/5), Blackburn win (7/5)

Both us and Reading are drawing in the 90th minute. We're awarded a penalty, Spanish Dave, on as a sub for Lingard, hits the post and it bounces out. 137 people on NSC simultaneously start a thread 'Spanish Dave, what has he done for us'.
