Been to another club's (client trying to bribe me!) and I can describe it as:

Very corporate with a smattering of "famous" people milling around and generally being famous. Lot's of back-slapping, in-jokes and taunting of the rich people present during the inevitable charity auction.

The club I went to is high profile PL team, so shared a table with a well known comedian, a newsreader and an ex player plus others in my industry the client was trying to impress.
