Did anyone see it? As PPB's go thought it was well done.

They aren't perfect but I think using the slogan "for the common good" could strike a chord with many

All going well until they mentioned fracking several times. Just like the other bigger parties they need to set their sights a little more objectively.

Anti fracking is to Greens as Anti Europe is to UKIP. I'd be very surprised if it does not get referred to in posters or election broadcasts.

Yes but if they want to run a campaign about common sense and not squabbling over ideologies then mentioning tracking isn't very wise.

Fracking is the new nuclear power. Massively overhyped.

I thought it was a poor piece of broadcasting, especially around the fracking issue. Considering the gas that is in the old shafts and faces of the coal pits, there is enough energy for everyone.

What having a green led council has demonstrated admirably is that if you vote for a bunch of incompetent communist halfwits driven by the politics of spite, then that's exactly who you get in power.

Now, remind me again, in the 80s and 90s who was it that were driving around in fuel inefficient Citroen 2CVs with "Nuclear Power? No thanks" stickers in the window when the only alternative to it was fossil fuel....

Britain and the world needs socialism more than ever. Politics obviously needs to focus on "the greater good" such as social & economic equality and the environment, but it's sad that the Green Party is the only realistic democratic option for this - as they're a party that even socialists rarely take seriously.

Aye comrade, we should prepare our revolutionary guard of the kinky popular front of the glorious leader of Kim Jong-un. We shall follow the principles of Juche!

SELF-DETERMINATION!
SELF-RELIANCE!
THEME PARKS!
FAMINE!
CREATING A RULING DYNASTY OF DICTATORS, WHOM WILL BE LIKE GODS AMONG OUR COMRADES
BUILDING MORE NUCLEAR WEAPONS, I THINK THE REVISIONIST FRENCH HAVE A LOT TO ANSWER FOR
REUNIFICATION OF THE GLORIOUS PEOPLE'S OF BRITAIN'S ISLES, A COMPLETE INVASION OF IRELAND IS A MUST!
RE NATIONALISATION OF PORN AND SLAVERY!
US BRITISH FOLK ARE THE ULTIMATE RACE, WE SHALL PROTECT, PRESERVE AND PROMOTE OUR RACE
EVERY CITIZEN MUST PLEDGE ALLEGIANCE TO STATE AND GLORIOUS LEADER!

LONG LIVE SOCIALISM, LONG LIVE THE GLORIOUS LEADER KIM JONG-IL, LONG LIVE STATISM!

I have just seen that the BNP have got a Party Political Broadcast on in twenty minuets, to be honest I was surprised they mustered the money together to fund it.

Horrible people.

GreersElbow - Do you even know what socialism is, and how it differs to a totalitarian & authoritarian communist dictatorship?!

Judging by that post, I'd say not... typical Daily Mail reader.
Hilarious.

As a matter of a fact, I do. I use to be a member of the Trotskyist Socialist Party of England and Wales. Marxist-Leninism isn't actually communism, but is socialism. Hence "Socialism in one country". The continued failure of socialism is ever present, I suggest you read up on the situation in Venezuela. They're not really liking socialism anymore, and largely in favour of bringing back capitalism. This country had socialism and look what happened to it.

Judging by your reply, I don't think you understand my post. It's mocking your previous praise of North Korea.

Also, I'm not a Daily Mail reader. I prefer something more factual, such as The Times and the Daily Telegraph. Typical Morning Star reader.

It's needs more Libertarianism.

More individual thought, less sheep like following of ideologies like socialism and Governments who try to control the people.

Socialism still requires a Government to enact policies and laws by which is can enforce its views and ideals upon the greater population.

It's no different to any other political ideology that looks to control many people through the power of a few.
