How many times have we had something to play for on the last day of the season? In the 20 years I've been watching I can remember the following:

2008/09 - stayed in league one by beating Stockport.

2004/05 - stayed in the Championship with a draw against Ipswich.

2002/03 - relegated from division one after we drew at Grimsby and Stoke beat Reading.

1996/97 - Hereford, no explanation needed!

1977/78. Cheated out of promotion to Div1 by those *******s at Southampton and Spurs.

78/79 Finished the season top of Div 2 only for the skum to win their game in hand and nick it by a point
