...caught on camera entering the home of Abramovich the day after the Chelsea takeover, alongside none other than the agent, Pini Zahavi.

Sven, as they say in Scandinavia, you're a ****!

At the foot of the downs
Its the 3rd time since hes been England coach hes been spotted 'visiting' club chairman/owners, but then he always seem 100% dedicated to the England job !!!

I found this on the SkySports web

Sven Goran Eriksson has denied he will take over as Chelsea manager - despite meeting new owner Roman Abramovich last week.

The England manager said he knows the reclusive Russian billionaire socially, but is adamant he is staying with the international team until after Euro 2004.

The Swede, who has previously managed Lazio, Roma, Sampdoria and Benfica, had been linked with the job at Stamford Bridge amid growing uncertainty about Blues boss Claudio Ranieri's future.

But Eriksson, who also knows agent Pini Zahavi, is adamant that he will not swap Soho Square for Stamford Bridge.

"I can confirm that last week I met with Pini Zahavi and the new owner of Chelsea Football Club - Roman Abramovich. The meeting took place at Mr Abramovich's property in London," Eriksson told the FA's official website.

"Pini Zahavi and I have been good friends for 20 years, since I was coaching Benfica. As Pini spends a lot of time in London, we regularly meet socially.

"Additionally, I have known Roman Abramovich for several months and during that time have also enjoyed socialising with him when he is in London.

"However, due to the intense media profile given to Mr Abramovich's involvement with Chelsea, I accept that this meeting may create unfortunate speculation.

"Therefore, I would like to once again categorically re-affirm my total commitment to my role as England head coach.

"I am thoroughly enjoying the current European Championship qualifying campaign and I am looking forward to leading England to success in the future."

He's contracted 'til 2006, we've got a big match against Turkey looming and Ranieri is under contract, so the day after the Chelsea takeover was NOT the time to be looking for your next job, he's a ****...

Redland you beat me too it!

Anyway notice in his first paragraph he says "meeting" yet in his 2nd it turns to "socially" - eeerrr...if your mates with them Sven then why was it a meeting?
Why would it be a meeting with an agent and owner?
Social drink yes as your friends but a meeting?...seems blatantly obvious the Ulrika shagger has been offered a shitload of cash to take over the coaching role at Chelsea to me :glare:

Its a newspaper set-up, its the silly season and there's little juicy gossip to put in the papers which they're targetted and desperate to sell!

This is utter utter bolloxs

1, He has a contract which he has said he will honour.
2, If he fails to qualify for Euro 2004 he will be fired anyway.
3, You cant blame him for keeping his options open assuming the above scenario comes true.
4, Ok, say your foreign. Chelsea, Real Madrid, Man U, England who would you rather manage given the squad availability, scum bag UK press, ignorant violent fans, and FA political shit?
5, This story keeps cropping up but the press know theyre onto a winner. Eventually he will leave the job, obviously and when he does the press can say they were right all along. ****s.

We get the manager we deserve normally (wtf did I do to get brush????) but Sven has been a breath of fresh air. We dont deserve him and we will lose him eventually.

...except that every paper and talk radio station has gone big on this story because it is a big story and it's backed up by photographic evidence.

Europe is awash with disillusioned club chairman and scorned women, evidence aplenty that this man is a ****, and I haven't even mentioned the Australia friendly debacle!...
