It’s not exactly a six-pointer! But is tonight’s game between Albion and Yeovil the biggest regular season league fixture to yet be staged at the Amex?
The Seagulls kick off knowing a win takes them into a play-off place – and could keep them there until the final afternoon of the season.
That makes it big in its own right. But there is the added ingredient that Yeovil will be relegated if they do not win.
There are not too many scenarios like that from the three-season history of the stadium.
We’ve chosen four league fixtures in Falmer which might have been bigger.
The historic opening fixture against Doncaster in August 2011 is one, just because it was so eagerly awaited and a match Albion so badly wanted to win.
We were tempted to add the season-turning derby against Southampton or the six-pointer with Middlesbrough from later in the 2011-12 campaign.
But instead we go for the post-Easter game at home to Reading.
The Royals were on the charge and Albion had slipped out of the top six after defeat at Burnley.
They went into the game one place and two points off the play-offs while Reading were second, three points off leaders Southampton with a game in hand.
Last term’s mid-season clash with Hull City was – like tonight’s game - selected for live TV honours and it was a wise choice.
Hull were third and the Seagulls were five points outside the play-offs. And both were looking upwards.
Gus Poyet felt the match towards the end of that campaign with Leicester was probably the biggest for the Seagulls in years and possibly their biggest since the 1991 play-offs as sixth hosted seventh.
Now we have something a bit different. But arguably more decisive than any of the others given that success or failure in reaching the play-offs is going to come down to narrower margins than it did in the last two seasons.
