Brighton and Hove Albion host Yeovil Town on Friday in the Glovers’ first visit to the American Express Community Stadium, and this week’s visit is only their sixth ever to the home of the Seagulls.
Yeovil last made the trip to the south coast in 2010, when goals from Glenn Murray and Inigo Calderon sealed all three points for the Albion and further stretched their lead at the top of the League One table.
Prior to that, the two sides had faced up against one another for four consecutive seasons from 2006-2010.*

Elliott Bennett *proved the difference in 2010 with his first-half strike while a year earlier former Glovers boss Russell Slade began his reign at Brighton on a positive note with a 5-0 demolition of his old Yeovil side. Nicky Forster and Dean Cox both grabbed braces that afternoon while a single contribution from Glenn Murray topped off the emphatic victory in front of a 6,291 crowd at the Withdean Stadium.
The heavy loss for Yeovil was their first on the south coast having won their previous and only two visits. In 2007 Lloyd Owusu and Paul Warne goals gave the Somerset side a 2-1 win while Town’s first ever visit ended in a convincing 3-1 triumph on Boxing Day 2006.
Joe Gatting grabbed a late consolation for the Seagulls but Leon Best, Arron Davies and Lee Morris had already done the damage.*
