Oscar Garcia says Brighton & Hove Albion remain in an amazing position in the play-off chase - all things considered - despite a frustrating home draw with Blackpool at the American Express Community Stadium this afternoon.
The Seagulls still sit sixth - after Ipswich and Bournemouth drew at Portman Road - but seventh-placed Reading have a game in hand against Middlesbrough tomorrow night, and victory at the Madejski Stadium would lift them above Albion into sixth place.*
Oscar told seagulls.co.uk, "I am frustrated, I am after every game where we do not take the three points - but it is amazing to be in the position we are in, bearing in mind what has happened during the season. When you consider that, it is amazing we are still fighting for a place in the top six.*
"The teams around us are not winning, that shows that it is difficult for them as well. So we will keep on fighting until the end of the season; that is what we have to do.

"We knew the opportunity we had today, and we wanted to start brightly but we did not play well in the first half. Blackpool kept ball early on and it was hard for us in the opening minutes. We planned to do the opposite; to create chances and to put them under real pressure early on.*
"We said at half-time we needed more energy, better tempo and more determination to win the game - and that was what we did. In the second half we were much better. We started well and scored straight away, but we were disappointed to concede so soon after.*
"Dale Stephens took his goal really well, but their equaliser was a soft goal. It was a soft challenge in midfield and then it was too easy for Stephen Dobbie to score.
"We knew that Blackpool are fighting for survival and we knew that they would come here and sit back and try to counter attack. We were prepared for this and they didn’t create many chances - but we also didn't create as many chances as we usually do - but I still feel we did enough to win the game."
