Don't get this set up with March and Lua Lua tucked into midfield
We are so narrow. No crosses unless Ward and Bruno overlap, which didn't happen much.
March went past the defender on the outside once, the bloke was terrified and brought him down
Did we apply the pressure? Did we f**k

This, since Bridge moved on our full-backs have either been reluctant to or are not quick enough to overlap and produce a constant flow of crosses into the mixer so that Leo et al can power it into the onion bag.

To be fair to him, Stephen Ward has produced a ton of first class crosses, we just haven't got on the end of nearly enough of them

Agree to a point, most are from halfway into the opponents half heading towards the keeper rather than overlapping and pulling them back (another cliché alert) into the danger zone

Doesn't matter how many crosses go into the box, until ulloa starts really challenging for a ball, and judging his jumps better it will make no difference. get that sack,of spuds off your back Leo!

We play with 3 wingers on the pitch, kaz, march and lingard, 2 of them need to stick right out wide the whole time!

That isn't the way Oscar wants us to play. The idea is to create space for overlapping fullbacks at the expense of losing those players' main attacking strengths.
