Why we see performances like today!

For me it's quite simple and not that hard to work out why we struggle on occasions and look decidedly average.

We quite simply have too many light weight players in the team, too many little boys in midfield that are great at running with the ball, doing a trick or two or running the channels but just simply cant mix it up, which leaves us with very little steal and grit which is very much needed. I wasn't Ashley Barnes biggest fan but boy could the boy work, he gave us grit, he battled to the very end and that's missing terribly from the team. We've lost our leaders in Bridcutt and Crofts and even though Stephens is improving him and Andrews are not on the same level. Where's the player to drag us on or pick us up when things are going wrong, for me there simply isn't one and that's why we look out of balance in midfield.

We have to face facts that we are are one of 5-6 average teams fighting to nick that last playoff spot, lets just hope we get it and again teams do us a favor. All said and done I think Garcia has done well with what he's had to work with but this team needs investment in the summer whatever division we are in.

we've lacked a quality midfielder all season (even before Crofts got injured) who can pass the ball forwards to our player. We've no one with vison or the ability to thread a pass.

No tempo, no pace, no urgency. We knew exactly what was needed, why the @'k@ can't we put in a performance to match the situation. We will now be needing to get a result at Forest. Shouldn't be coming down to this.

To be fair, that has been the opinion of the majority of members here; we're good but not as good as the minority (but more vocal) fans think we are - it's their frustration that you hear more of. We're far from the finished article but we are still firmly in the play-off hunt, which is where we want to be.

We ripped the goolies out of the team.

El Abd, Bridcutt, Barnes and obviously to a lesser extent Calderon & Crofts.

We're left with a bunch of strangers prone to playing like strangers.

There's no excuse for that performance today.
Nobody stepped up, no heart, no passion, no commitment.

Sure that alone doesn't win games, but you've got even less chance to win without it.

High, hopeful balls lofted forward to Leo in the first half were never going to get us any goals.

Today's performance just confirms that we're not good enough for serous play off challenge. We were a better side this time last year.

Kemy Agustien. We have the player, the management chooses not to use him. And besides, pass it forward to how? We only ever have one player in front of the midfield!

There is s a serious lack of bottle and the payers need to learn that they have to earn the righto play in front of 28,000 or if not, they can soon find themselves playing to 3000 at Hartlepool

But we are. The players on the pitch today, should have torn Blackpool a new ********. I've said it all season, the tactics are the poison. They simply do not work with a championship squad. People excused Oscar earlier because of injuries, but now we are as strong as we can expect to be, there is no change in the crap he is serving up. We buy better players in the summer, if he plays them in the same backwards formation, they results will be the same. Saw the Burnley celebrations in the ground earlier. With a like minded manager in charge of us, could not help but think that could have been us.
