Blackpool visit the Amex tomorrow, kick-off 3pm, for a huge match with implications at both ends of the Sky Bet Championship.
We’re anticipating another huge crowd, but tickets are still available. The club’s online print-at-home feature is the easiest and cheapest way to buy. Click here to buy online. Supporters can also buy tickets in person tomorrow from the Amex ticket office and from the mobile retail unit situated outside of Brighton train station. Please allow plenty of time to purchase your tickets in person on the day.
All the latest team news, travel details and any further match information is available at www.seagulls.co.uk, on our official Facebook page and via the club's official Twitter feed @OfficialBHAFC throughout the build-up to the game. Plus check out our Instagram feed (@officialbhafc) for unseen pictures and our YouTube channel for free post-match interviews and highlights.
Make A Day Of It!
Fans of all ages can enjoy a full day at the Amex tomorrow. The Seven Stars family sports bar and Dick’s Bar will be open from 11.30am serving a range of hot food for all tastes. Concourses open at 1pm.
After the game there’s live coverage of the Championship clash between Leeds United and Nottingham Forest from 5.15pm, which will be shown across the stadium. Dick’s Bar, the North Stand concourse and Seven Stars will all close at 8pm; other concourses close at 6.30pm.
#ThanksErrea
Monday’s game against Blackpool will give the club and fans the chance to show their appreciation to Errea, and we would like Albion fans to wear their favourite Errea shirt from the last 15 seasons. Tweet us pictures of your favourite moment in that time, or a selfie of you wearing your favourite shirt using the hashtag #ThanksErrea.
Travel Guide…Parking Available
REMEMBER! The Racecourse Park & Ride is closed due to an event at Brighton Racecourse.
Fans who usually use the Racecourse site are encouraged to use either Mithras House or Mill Road Park & Ride sites – plus there will be additional capacity at Preston Barracks – just head for Mithras House and follow the signs for the barracks.*
Car parking for the Blackpool game is available at the Bridge Car Park, just a few minutes' walk from the Amex, priced £15 on the day.
You can also book coach travel via our travel partners Seagull Travel, who pick up from points in all major Sussex towns – and even further afield.
Alternatively, trains are running the normal matchday service between Brighton, Lewes and stations beyond. Bus services will be running on a bank holiday timetable, so please check times before leaving home. Train, bus and park-and-ride services are once again included within the match-ticket package.
Food and Drink
The Piglet’s Pantry special pie for this game is once again a Chicken Chorizo pie and is available in all kiosks. The guest beer is Coiled Spring, by the Daniel Thwaites brewery. This will be available in East, North, and West concourses.
Get Your Copy of Seagull
In Monday’s edition of Seagull we celebrate Errea’s 15-year association as Albion’s kit manufacturer, which comes to an end this summer. Included is a montage of every Errea kit worn since our move to Withdean, plus interviews with Paul Rogers and long-serving kitman Ken Barnard.
Craig Mackail-Smith explains why the lads give him stick about his farm life and reveals his future plans off the pitch.
Solly March shares his delight at earning a new four-year contract while fellow youngster Jake Forster-Caskey reveals the team’s mantra going into the final three games of the season.
We take a look back at the Young Seagulls and Seagulls Priority Members’ Open Day while cartoonist Bob Bond gives us his own unique take on our last Amex win against Charlton Athletic.
Bruno recalls his Champions League days with Valencia while Alan Mullery recalls two painful experiences: nipple rash at Brazil ’70 and missing out on top-flight promotion on the final day of the season.
All this and much more can be found in your award-winning, 84-page Seagull, available at the stadium on Monday, priced £3.50.
Matchday Retail
We have a new range of men's and kids' t-shirts in-store and online; two men's tees are available for £25 while two kids' tees are available for £18.
In line with our Errea tributes, all replica shirts bought in-store tomorrow will come in a free presentation box – these remain priced just £14.99. Elsewhere, the £5 name-and-number shirt printing continues, so a new shirt and back-of-shirt printing is all available for less than £20 – which will include the presentation box.
This is also the last weekend of our FREE postage and packaging offer to UK addresses. To take advantage, visit www.seagullsdirect.co.uk and complete your purchase before midnight on Easter Sunday.
Remember, if you want to top-up e-cash you can use our quick and easy top-up point located outside of the North Stand.*
The Seagulls Superstore will be open before and after the game with additional outlets outside the North Stand.
E-Cash Guide
Our Seagulls e-cash system is more rewarding to those fans arriving earlier and staying later. Click here for full details.
By using your smartcard to buy food and drink within the stadium you can earn a degree of cashback – and queuing time is significantly reduced. If you've not done it before, here is how you do it:
1. Visit the online Seagulls e-cash page via the fan tab at www.seagulls.co.uk
2. Log in using your unique fan number, card number and password
3. Click top up in the My Details section, and follow the on-screen instructions
Once Seagulls e-cash is loaded, you are ready to go and use your card to pay for food, drink and in the stores!
NB: After topping up your card (over the counter or online) you will need to activate the cash by holding your card on one of the smartcard readers for approximately 15 seconds.
The American Express Community Stadium is a no-smoking venue. Fans should note this also includes vapour and e-cigs, as this encourages the smoking of real cigarettes, and does not fit with the club’s non-smoking policy.
