This is pretty amazing

http://mnbound.com/live-eagle-cam/

Live coverage of an eagles nest in southern Minnesota. A couple of eaglets have hatched, one is stilll in the egg, and the parents drop all MANNER of dead (and sometimes half-dead) prey in there for them to SCOFF. An injured DUCK got dropped in there earlier and managed to scramble out, only for dad to bring it back a bit later with its neck broke.

Bloody brilliant. They've survived the recent snowstorms too. Live natural DRAMA in its truest form. I can't help keeping this window open now to see how they're getting on.

Are they Minnesota twins, Easy?

Ahhh....good shout :)

I guess they are at the moment, but a triplet is due to hatch soon...

(Twins .533 right now, the best I have EVER seen from them, loving it while it lasts)

Well, theres been some interesting developments today. Firstly the 3rd egg hatched, so theres another little eaglet in there.

But secondly, the male brought back a dead DUCK which he proceeded to tear into pieces for the eaglets, only to reveal an unhatched EGG, fully intact inside the dead duck, which rolled into the nest. So mums been sitting on the eaglets to keep them warm, and an extra egg. From a duck.

Now if that successfully hatches, and a baby DUCK comes out, then mum could be facing some awkward questions from dad methinks...
