Nathan Jones praised Brighton & Hove Albion’s desire after the Seagulls claimed a point at Huddersfield Town with a late goal in the 1-1 draw at the John Smith’s Stadium.
Albion’s assistant head coach was delighted with the reaction of the Albion players as they fought back and secured a share of the spoils, and with Reading and Bournemouth both losing, Bruno’s 83rd-minute equaliser sent the Seagulls back into the top six.
Jones told seagulls.co.uk, “First of all, we’re delighted with the point; because of other results it’s pushed us back into the play-off places which we’re pleased about.
“We showed great character and a lot of desire in the second-half. We came out and tried to win the game. We tried to get back into it and tried to get a goal as early as we could.
“Then, we got a late goal and still tried to win it, so we’re pleased with that, it’s a fantastic, an outstanding point really.”
