It*had developed into*a feisty affair with home fans demanding a physical approach from their side.
They won a corner which Stephens headed away late in the half.
Albion, for all their pressure from about the ten-minute mark, had lacked a cutting edge.
Half: Huddersfield 1 Albion 0

3:40pm
Ulloa won a free-kick on the right and Stephens then slid the set-piece into his run - but the striker could not control and the chance was lost.
Clayton immediately conceded anoter free-kick which LuaLua drilled into the wall from 30 yards.
Albion thought Clayton should have been booked and were unhappy when Dunk saw yellow for a similar offence at the other end.
Albion cleared the free-kick and March was wrestled to the ground by Hogg as he raced away, earning another booking.

3:33pm
Albion were now having a lot of the ball against a somewhat nervy home side.
But promptings from Lingard and March were bringing no reward.

3:28pm
That flurry of pressure brought three quickfire corners, the third of which was powered past Smithies by Ulloa's header. But referee Davies had spotted pushing on Gerrard by Dunk*and disallowed the goal.

3:26pm
Greer got Albion out of danger with a great tackle on the edge of his own box on Hammill.
Home fans were adamant it was a foul - and their mood was not helped when Wallace was booked for a foul on Lingard on the counter attack.
Dunk nodded the resulting free-kick dangerously back across goal and it was touched behind for a corner as Albion enjoyed a spell of pressure.

3:19pm
Albion had come more into the game and Huddersfield were relieved to clear a low cross from Lingard after nice build-up and then the resulting long throw by Bruno.

3:12pm
When Albion at last managed to get on the ball, Bruno threaded a nice pass down the right and Lingard ran at his marker - before beating himself with his trickery and running the ball out for a goal kick.

3:09pm
Huddersfield's reward came in only the sixth minute when Andrews was penalised 25 yards out. NORWOOD thumped a superb free-kick past Kuszczak and just inside the post.
Albion looked rattled and Dunk headed a hopeful up-and-under past Kuszczak and behind for another needless corner - but Ulloa again headed away.

3:07pm
There was early alarm for Albion when Kuszczak came for a free-kick and was beaten to it by Dunk, who headed over his own goal. Ulloa headed the resulting clearance away.
But it was an energetic start by the hosts who were pressing Albion in possession.

3:02pm
Albion defending the away end - and the shaded goal - in this first half.

3:01pm
The teams are out, so is the sun and there is*a bit at stake here in West Yorkshire this afternoon.
Albion are looking to add points to their play-off bid which ahas been reinvigorated by wns in their last two games.
And Huddersfield are after the first win in ten which would take them to the brink of safety.
There's not a bad following in the away end away to my right. I'm sure many over there have had a pretty trying trip up the M1.
But they made it and we are almost ready to go.
