Brighton & Hove Albion are pleased to announce that business telephone specialists Overline have signed up to facilitate the club’s telephony system at the new training ground.
Lancing-based Overline are already the official providers for the American Express Community Stadium - supplying the club's advanced IP system, phone system and mobile phones - and now will integrate the stadium with the state-of-the-art facility in Adur.
Overline sales director Jason Young commented, “The training ground contract not only reinforces the partnership between the club and Overline, but affirms Albion’s commitment to local businesses who employ local people. We are proud to be a part of the ongoing commitment the club shows to the local community.”
Albion’s head of business development Paul Rogers said, “Overline have been excellent long-standing suppliers, sponsors and partners of both Brighton & Hove Albion and Albion in the Community.*
“We are delighted that they have further extended their support of the club with this new arrangement. I would like to thank them for their continued support and excellent service and we look forward to continuing to work with them for many years to come.”

Albion director Martin Perry, who is overseeing the training ground build, added, “During the planning stage, we gave an undertaking to Adur District Council we would employ local people and use local firms wherever possible - both during the construction phase and once the new facility is operating.*
“This reflects that commitment: Overline are based only a little further than a Tomasz Kuszczak goal kick from the new complex! We are delighted that as a result of the excellent service they provided at the stadium, we have been able to award this further contract to Overline and we look forward to extending our relationship with them.”
The move to the new site will begin at the end of the month with the majority of staff planned to follow in June - with Overline responsible for ensuring that the new training ground links back to the Amex and that there is complete internal communication between all Albion sites.
There will be 69 telephone extensions within the main buildings, indoor pitch and security lodge and 30 new lines will be installed, complete with analogue lines for the purpose of security and operating the lifts.
