He'll announce it, live, during the playoffs. When I say 'it', I actually mean he'll tell the world that he is the only manager in the world to be fired, live on tv, in two consecutive seasons.

Doe's it matter? I hate to break it to some on here, but what he doe's or doesn't do has no bearing on our club whatsoever. He is our ex manager , he left a season ago nearly, move on for goodness sake

Why on earth would we want to do that? It's pretty damn funny to see Poyet f*ck up due to his monstrous ego far outweighing his managerial talent twice in two seasons.

I don't care personally, glad he's no longer our problem, but my guess is before Sunderland start in the Championship.

As a observation, he doesn't appear so popular up there anymore.

He's certainly managed to turn most of our support against him. I was a big admirer of his in his first couple of years with you and hoped he'd be a success with us, but what so many of you said is patently true.
He has no self-awareness, it is ALL about him. It was all about him when you'd just been beaten 0-2 by Palace and now it's all about him when we are sinking into The Championship without a spark of fight.
Yes, there is rottenness at Sunderland AFC, but Gus Poyet was almost prostituting himself to get the job a few months ago; now it's his responsibility to at least attempt to sort out the mess.
He has neither the backbone nor the integrity of Paolo Di Canio, despite all that the media would have us believe.

Having hit the roof last year he'll reach rock bottom tomorrow and leg it on Thursday morning.

Oatway will next be seen in Geordie Shore as Charlotte Crosby's personal trainer.

Near enough every thread on here is used to give Gus a kicking, even the one about Roberto Martinez and his Hilllsborough speech(very classy from him, not so much by some on here, btw), it really reminds me of a sad, bitter, old man, whos young trophy wife has run of with a richer sugar daddy, you don't care, but every little thing that goes wrong for them you wallow in, it is just so embarrassingly sad

And yet those of us that still think Poyet was harshly treated are constantly told to "get over" the fact he's gone ???

I personally wish him well in whatever he does and thank him for bringing the good times back to the Albion #inaminorityofone

This. There are a lot of very bitter people on here who can't have very much going on in their lives. It's embarrassing.

This is from The Sporting Life today earlier today:

Gus Poyet was backed in last night in the Premier League 'sack race' market.

The Sunderland boss' price collapsed from 16/1 to its current 11/8 with Sky Bet. Other firms have suspended following the gamble.

Sky Bet's market concerns this season only - their market leader is no manager to leave which is offered at 4/5.

The firm's Dale Tempest said: "We cut Poyet to 12/1 but the money just kept on coming even after eventually being backed in to 13/8.

"The flow appears to have been stemmed, but as yet we're unsure what's fuelling this sudden interest ahead of their game at the Etihad Stadium (on Wednesday)."

Poyet's Sunderland are currently rock bottom of the Premier League, seven points from safety, although they do have two games in hand on 17th-placed Norwich.

You sound like a sad man who, despite the ever-growing evidence to the contrary, continues to mistakenly overestimate the ability of your ex-boyfriend, and just can't get over the fact the latter's true colours are shining through, as he, not for the first time, admirably demonstrates that he is an ungrateful big-mouthed egotist, who can't accept responsibility for his own failings.

He won't walk. They are certain to stay up with such a great manager. He will get Sunderland mid table, then next season push on for Europe, before leaving to manage Chelsea and then Barcelona, before winning the World Cup with Uruguay........Oh sorry, I was just remembering some of the comments on here, when he took over Sunderland!!!......Seriously, I would be surprised if he didn't walk, but then who's going to want him???..His stock has taken a bit of a bashing over the last 12 mths. Unless he gets offered a prem job, which surely nobody is that stupid, he may find Sunderland is just about the biggest job he could demand......That's unless Leeds come calling, then we all know what would happen.....and he can try all the old bullshite on them next.

I reckon he'll stick around and give it a shot at getting promoted next season. He'll have a really strong team and big budget.

Maybe, if he doesn't get the push.

Do you know he was harshly treated? No. Then support your club, not the egotist.
