Most of the roads around Brighton and beyond appear to be full of ancient clapped out steam-driven motorcycles driven by old geezers in goggles.
One of them was doing 6mph on the outside of the outside lane coming south through Pyecombe earlier today. He got as far as Braypool, lost steam and had to pedal.

Motorcycle accident on A27. Was closed eastbound according to Argus. I used the A283 instead of the A23 to get home from southwick.

Serious smash WB on the A27 between Hove and Hangleton - 2 cars and 2 bikes involved and its closed both ways.
Also a 2 car smash WB again on the A27 at Lewes AND an accident on the A259 at Bexhill.
