Brighton & Hove Albion’s under-21 side travel to Cardiff City today, for their last league game of the 2013/14 season.
Simon Ireland’s side will travel to Cardiff hopeful of ending their campaign on a high and looking to avenge their two early season losses to the league leaders.*
The first clash between the two was a cup game in October that saw Albion handed a desperately unlucky defeat in a 4-3 thriller, when the Bluebirds struck in the last minute of extra time to knock the Seagulls out of the inaugural Premier League Cup.

LATEST NEWS FROM SEAGULLS.CO.UK

Just a week later the Bluebirds were back at Culver Road and this time brought an end to Albion’s seven-game unbeaten run in the league, emerging 1-0 winners in a tighter affair than the cup tie.
The Welsh outfit will be looking to secure the title with a third win over the Seagulls while Albion could see themselves finish in fourth, providing results elsewhere go their way.*
Christian Walton looks set to return in goal after making way for Casper Ankergren last week against Charlton Athletic, as Ireland will once again field a youthful side with under-18 players Jason Davis, Jimmy Muitt, Jack Rowe-Hurst, Connor Tighe, Josh Smith, Jamie Horncastle and Cameron Wiltshire all included in the squad.*
Kick-off is at 3pm at the Cardiff City Stadium.
