England Women head coach Mark Sampson is full of excitement ahead of his first home game in charge against Montenegro and hopes that his side can produce a vibrant attacking display in front of the Amex crowd.

The Lionesses go into the game with a 100% record from four qualifiers and the head coach believes that today’s match is a fantastic opportunity for fans to watch England at such a low price.

He told seagulls.co.uk, “I’m sharing the same sense of excitement with the players and looking forward to the game.“We’ve come to an incredible arena. It’s an awesome sight and the playing surface is fantastic, so that’s just whetting the appetite ahead of a game in front of our supporters, family and friends.
“It’s fantastic opportunity for fans to come to this venue for a low ticket price and I hope the team plays some positive attacking football on the day.”
Sampson also looked ahead to a new era for England and hopes that his side can carry on their impressive form in the remaining qualifiers.
He added, “This is a new team and a new way of working for this England side.
“We’re in a great position in our group, but we know we have a lot more to do. We’ve got to put in a good strong performance and get three points on the board.
“The most important thing for us is that we qualify.”
