The betting tips bounced back to form on Tuesday night with two payouts from three wagers.*
David Rodriguez gave us an early fillip when he netted the 9/1 wager on first goal, and Dale Stephens sent us home smiling by scoring the late equaliser that confirmed the 23/10 payout for the DRAW.
Plenty of ammo then to take into a busy Saturday that sees the Grand National and Albion going head-to-head for the attention of the punters!
We'll start with the football and Brighton will attempt to halt Barnsley’s resurgent survival battle when the two sides meet at Oakwell.
Oscar Garcia’s men are the 11/10 favourites to collect maximum points this weekend with their hosts 5/2 outsiders, while Sky Bet go 23/10 for the spoils to be shared.
Barnsley defied the odds when they triumphed 2-1 at the American Express Community Stadium earlier in the season; a result for which they are 10/1 to repeat. *

Brighton’s leading marksman Leonardo Ulloa is the 7/2 favourite to open the scoring while Chris O’Grady, who bagged a brace at Yeovil last weekend, is considered the hosts’ biggest threat at 5/1 to break the deadlock.
It is a challenging match in which to find value as the odds compilers have certainly done their job this time. I am going to take a similar approach to Tuesday and single out*DAVID LOPEZ @ 9/1*and*DALE STEPHENS @ 18/1, who will both be knocking on the gaffer's door looking for a recall to the starting line-up.

LATEST NEWS FROM SEAGULLS.CO.UK

Over to the Gee-Gee's then and the 167th running of the Grand National and there are five runners I want to single out from the 40 that will break from the tape at 4:15pm. Hopefully this will help you home in on the winner!
Teaforthree (8/1) is the favourite and a short price for this race. I can't help thinking he may drift before the off but Sky Bet have a "best odds guaranteed" so even if he starts longer, you will get the best price. He was third in this race last season but jumped impeccably. This time he is carrying a lighter weight and he must be on everybody's short lists. **
Long Run (12/1) is Nicky Henderson's main prospect of breaking his National hoodoo. He is the quality horse in the race having won the Gold Cup and the King George (twice). Predictably though this means he is lumbered with a lot of weight and he is not the best jumper in the field, but if the cream were to rise to the top......
Tidal Bay (14/1) is the only horse carrying more weight than Long Run. The stats men will avoid him like the plague! The last 13-year-old to win this race was back in 1923; The last horse to win while carrying top wright was Red Rum; and the last time he ran in this race (2011) he was unseated at the 10th fence! *However there is something quirky about him that suggests he might just defy those statistics.
Rocky Creek (16/1), also trained by Paul Nichols, is the opposite extreme to Tidal Bay. Only 8-years-old he has only had seven previous runs over fences. His two outings this season (finished second in both) have been solid and this is one horse who will really appreciate the step up in distance. Certainly he represents the best value of the main players in the race. *
Chance Du Roy (33/1) is my outsider. He has a great record over the National fences (this will be his 5th outing) and he has been gradually increased in distance. He was second in the 2m5f Topham in 2012, and won the 3m2f Becher chase here in December. However there does remain a doubt over his ability to last out the trip. If he does though - then 33/1 is a stonking each-way price as you can have confidence in his jumping (1 fall from 21 races).
