David Rodriguez says he hopes his first Brighton & Hove Albion goal against Blackburn Rovers last night will be the first of many for the club.
The Spaniard opened the scoring in Tuesday night’s six-goal thriller at Ewood Park and is now confident he will add to his tally.

He told seagulls.co.uk, “As we say in Spain, I've 'opened the tin' and now I want more.
“As a striker that first goal always helps you but I've always scored goals at every club I've played for and I don't want that to change here at Brighton.*
“I'm delighted. I hit the bar at Sheffield last week and I've been working hard to get that first goal. I'm happy, especially because it helps the team to a point.
“Now I've just got to keep contributing to the team. I've found a bit hard to adapt to English football and that's no secret but people have told me to keep patient.”
