The Mirror is reporting that we are in talks to bring Bobby back next season, along with their previous reports that we are interested in Joe Cole and Frank Lampard, we could soon have the oldest squad in the league, (if you believe anything in the Mirror) 8

I'm not sure a bunch of 32-34 year old players is where we need to be going.

Although I WOULD take Lampard out of those, but its never going to happen

ERRR I would take Cole, Lampard and Zamora all day long, Jesus that would give us a serious spine to the team. Never going to happen, but it would see us easily into the playoffs next season if we were to sign these 3.

Those three would be great, yes they are oldies but these guys know how to make the ball do the work. As long as we have other younger legs around them we'd have more chance of breaking down defences....IMO

Not a great analogy as none of them are dead. I would say it is more akin to getting Darcy Bussell to lead a new Gully's Girls.
