So no home match that Saturday, or the Saturday before (international break) or the two Saturdays after (Freshers week)...

Will have a party when it comes to Haywards Heath I watched the Tour de France go through Ditchling and the build up was a great party atmosphere but I blinked and missed the bikes.

Excellent news. They'll be better teams this year as well

I'm going for a long play here, as this will join up with a specific thread in a week or so time.

If you have an interest in the ToB, following on from an interest in The Tour de France, check this out from 5-live:-
http://www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/b03yqmmj

It's on I-Player for now, but also a podcast in the 5-live section of I-Tunes, unsurprisingly in Bespoke.

Is that one actually real?

We were just round the corner when this happened at Alpe D'Huez in '99:

Yeah last Sunday's Ghent - Wevelgem.

The route paid homage to WW1.
The riders were passing a huge monument, so if the fella knows his way around a camera he probably got some impressive snaps.

Naturally Twitter has enjoyed itself since:-

My aim has always been to trigger the speed camera on my way down Ditchling Road. Probably not remotely possible, but we struggle on.

Definitely possible in terms of speed, but don't think the sensor in the road (which detects a car's magnetic field) will pick up a bike.
