Brighton & Hove Albion chairman, Tony Bloom, added, "We are all immensely proud of the work undertaken by Albion in the Community and the impact it has on communities across Sussex. The annual report underlines why the scheme is regarded as one of the best in the country and also highlights a whole range of social, health and educational benefits that sport and the Albion are bringing to many, many people across the county and beyond."
The new logo, developed in consultation with the charity’s key stakeholders, will see the football club’s iconic seagull badge sit alongside the name of Albion in the Community and a new tagline, ‘Giving People a Chance’.
Edwards added, “Brighton & Hove Albion is at the heart of everything we do so it makes sense to bring the club and AITC closer together with the new logo. This was something that came out of consultations with our stakeholders. Many of the people who take part in our programmes often tell us that AlTC gives them a chance to engage in something they wouldn't normally because of the link to sport and the Albion. We feel it is right that the new logo should also reflect that."
