9 of our starting eleven wore fluorescent orange Nike boots, all of them were brand new. Our new sponsor also happens to be... Nike... !!These boots were worn for advertisement purposes because of our new sponsor. New boots are harder to play in, as they haven't been worn in. :ohmy:

You may have a point here, when I buy new trainers they always take quite a few wears until they feel comfortable.
