Hmmm. He's 35, so will be getting very slow, but I'd have him for a season or maybe two.

How would i know?I'm pissed.
Would be amazing to have someone like him onboard..especially if it was to include a coaching role when he stops playing. .. you never know. . We might even learn how to score once in a while! !!

Ashley Cole, Lampard and JT would be a decent trio of summer signings.

Throw in Joe Cole and a fit BZ and we're on our way.

Then I woke up.............

If this happens I will buy a hat just so I can eat it.

Come on, I know that we aren't as small a club as we were but this is ridiculous, the man could still play for a number of clubs in the Prem and I cannot see how, when we are being rejected by players like Bridge because we won't pay enough, we would be able to tempt Franky down here

Would love it to happen, but there's no chance.

Still, he's got a place in West Sussex hasn't he? Chichester way? Maybe a drive to Lancing each day would be pleasant for him?

The logical place for him to go is LA or NY in the MLS.

I think he would still grace any Premier League side but he certainly wouldn't have 50 games a season left in him.

It would be nice to think he could be our equivalent of Keegan when he joined Newcastle in the old Division 2 - it's always exciting when a big name drops down a division, but sadly very few players play for the love of the game.

I think we'd need to improve the road through Charmandean up to Lyons Farm - bit slow through there.

As long as he doesn't have to go through Arundel at rush hour

Is this how you become a sports journalist now then?

1. Think of a famous Premiership player coming towards the end of his career / contract

2. Pick random club pushing for promotion to the Premier League

3. Link the two together and write an "exclusive"
