Crap player and probably equally so as manager. So crap he became cult during a time when we were arguably worse as a footballing side than the Hereford season. Awful awful days. Make me shudder now.

I must have missed his prime - I think it was 18games before he eventually scored at the Brighton end of the priestfield - still remember it, decent goal. But let's not kid ourselves he was a good player just because beggars can't be choosers. Woeful player. Good cult mind.
