I've lost half a stone in the past month, but still overweight. My aim is to get to the right weight. Truth is that these days overweight is normal though

I'm 6'4'' and weigh about 12 stone, which gives me a BMI of 20.4 (healthy weight).

Fat is not a word anyone is likely to use to describe me.

Overweight, but as a rugby player I think of myself as healthy. My body fat falls within the 'normal' range and I go to the gym regularly.

Having said that, I'm training for a triathlon and hoping to lose a stone to get triathlon ready.

I can't do the sum, because I don't know how much I weigh (and have no scales in the house). I've done it based on what I THINK I weigh, which comes out (just) in the green, at 24.6.

Obviously I'm probably deluding myself about what I weigh!

Despite going to the gym a minimum of three times a week, swimming once and one spin class I'm still classed as overweight.

I like my food, and to a lesser extent these days, my drink I guess!

in my line of work I probably get BMI's from around 40 people a month and I'd say on average 60% are 'overweight' with 20% being over 30 on the BMI scale

largest ever was 47!!!!
