Albion would have to keep the ball on the deck*in attack. Bruno sent Lingard away down the right and he combined with Buckley before Forster-Caskey fired over from just outside the box.
Lingard had started the game as the central striker with Rodriguez to the left.
The Spaniard wasted a counter attack chance when he tried a shot from 40 yards as Lingard demanded a through ball.
Rodriguez's effort bounced 20 yards wide to the derision of fans in the Kop behind that goal.

7:50pm
Albion had the first free-kick, when Lingard was fouled, but Forster-Caskey swung his delivery straight into the arms of Kirkland.
Wednesday posed more threat as they countered and a dangerous cross was just too high for Best in front of goal.

They are off at the mark at all those new stadia now.
In fact they have won twice at the Riverside.
So can they end the biggest hoodoo of them all? And without top scorer Leo Ulloa!
The teams are out. Here we go...
