Stephen Ward has sung the praises of Brighton & Hove Albion’s top scorer Leo Ulloa for his displays that have helped fire the Seagulls towards the play-offs.
The Argentinian forward has hit 12 goals this season, despite missing *a portion of the season with a foot injury before Christmas, and Ward says the striker is integral to Albion’s promotion ambitions.
The left-back told seagulls.co.uk, “Leo's contribution is massive. At the minute it is tough on him as he seems to be the one up there every week but he has been outstanding.*
“He has been really positive for us this year and without him we are without the focal point of our team. When he plays well it makes it a lot easier for us and thankfully he has had many more good days than off days this season and long may that continue.*
“Hopefully the rest of us can give him a bit more help as it is a tough job up there on your own. He he has been playing 90 minutes every week, but with the likes of Will [Hoskins] and Craig [Mackail-Smith] coming back maybe they can take the weight off Leo’s shoulders.*
“But Leo is a quality player and top players like that can take on the responsibility and he has shown that.”*
