I warmed to him when he was at the amex a couple of weeks ago. He got a lot of stick and always had a smile on his face. He must still be good to be playing this standard of football after all his controversy

He was great at the Amex. I guess he's a bit like Ernest - marmite. Personally I like the bloke. So many bland footballers and just bland people in general on this planet that people like Barton are a breath of fresh air.
The difference is that Barton is funny to more people than just Beach Hut.
