4:27pm
Albion sent on LuaLua for Forster-Caskey before play resumed after the goal.
He quickly won a corner which led to a goalmouth melee - but no more than that.
Then Bruno sent a low shot wide from just outside the box.

4:23pm
Ipswich have been a threat from corners all season - and they used a flag kick to go ahead in the 61st minute. A deep delivery was headed goalwards by Murphy and SMITH nodded in from point blank range.

4:19pm
It was*a bit*better from Albion - but then Ipswich had a bit of possession which led to Anderson winning a corner which he worked short with Williams before crossing.
The ball bounced around the box before Hunt half-volleyed horribly over the bar and into the Ipswich fans at that end.
Then Albion worked a presentable chance after good work by Ince in midfield. Bruno slid a nicely disguised pass to Andrews down the right and he picked out Buckley for a header which went three yards wide.

4:14pm
Albion were in the attack after the break - and almost got the goal they craved.
Bruno played the ball back to Andrews, whose cross reached Lingard for a 20-yard volley which went through a group of players and was superbly tipped away from his bottom corner by Gerken.

3:49pm
Forster-Caskey produced his best free-kick so far as the*half entered two added minutes to pick out Upson beyond the far post. Upson headed the ball back and Ward sent a difficult chance - hooked over his shoulder as he fell - over the bar.
Half: Albion 0 Ipswich 0

3:42pm
Inventive work by Buckley, popping up on the left, almost brought the breakthrough. He played*a one-two, got to the byline and rolled the ball back. But Lingard sent his low shot across goal and just past the far post.

3:37pm
Andrews did brilliantly to win the ball off Ipswich in midfield and find Ulloa - but the latter's return pass was off target.
Bruno, who had already been spoken to by Drysdale, was booked for a foul.
Then the home right-back was almost unwittingly involved in an opening goal for Ipswich. He got a foot to Cresswell's shot from outside the box and the ball span into the air before landing on the top of the net as Kuszczak back-pedalled.

3:34pm
It was becoming quite cagey - and a test of patience for Albion and their fans.
Lingard raised hopes when he cut in from the left but, in a carbon copy effort to one in the second half at Bolton last week, sliced his shot well wide.

3:26pm
A wayward attempt at*a return pass by Buckley to Bruno on halfway put Albion in trouble. Cresswell crossed, Murphy miscued his shot and Williams followed up to net - but he was flagged offside.

3:24pm
Murphy sent a half-chance five yards wide as he turned on to Cresswell's low cross.
But Albion were on top now and Lingard forced a corner which Smith seemed to head past his own post - but a goal kick was awarded.

3:23pm
Bruno was delighting the crowd with some clever passes. He deftly sent Buckley inside his full-back and to the byline but the low cross was cut out - as was Bruno's follow-up delivery into the box.
Then Greer, up for a corner, nodded Andrews' deep*chip back into the goalmouth but no home player could latch on to it.
The clearance came to Bruno. The right-back curled a pinpoint cross with pace for Ulloa, whose downward header was held quite comfortably by Gerken diving to his right.

3:17pm
Lingard went down in a tangle of legs with Berra right on the edge*of the box but ref Drysdale waved play on.

3:14pm
Murphy cut inside a tackle with ease and saw a goalbound shot blocked.
But Albion responded and Bruno's cross was just too high for Ulloa to make decisive contact at the far post.

3:12pm
But it was Albion who should have gone ahead when Bruno chipped a terrific pass into the path of Lingard, in behind the defence. He kept the ball ahead of him for a touch but then seemed to lose his footing and shot weakly at Gerken.
Play moved to the other end and the ball bounced dangerously around the Albion box after a corner before being cleared.
Then Cresswell drilled in a low cross which Greer put into the North Stand for their second corner.
Berra, at the far post, nodded the corner back into the goalmouth but Williams was unable to get a telling touch in front of goal and Kuszczak gathered.
Other than that Lingard opening, it was a rather lack-lustre start by the hosts.

3:07pm
It was a fairly low key start - beneath blue skies and in a chill wind - as the sides felt each other out.
Williams was booed first time he touched the ball.
Town offered a hint of threat when Anderson got the ball to the*left of goal and flashed a cross across goalmouth.

3:03pm
Albion going North to South in this first half.

2:59pm
So Forest have come a cropper.
Now can Albion make another move on the top six with a third win in a row.
We are told Ipswich will make it very tough. They are clinging to a play-off dream of their own.
The Amex is looking fantastic and the teams are on their way out now.
Not long to go.*
